πΈπ¬ Singapore CPF Contributions
The Central Provident Fund (CPF) is a mandatory savings scheme for Singapore citizens and permanent residents. Both employees and employers contribute a percentage of the employee's monthly ordinary wages, subject to the Ordinary Wage (OW) ceiling of $6,800/month.
CPF contribution rates vary by age band. For employees aged 55 and below, the combined rate is 37% (20% employee + 17% employer). Rates decrease progressively for older age bands.
Employers are also required to pay the Skills Development Levy (SDL) at 0.25% of monthly remuneration (minimum $2), and the Self-Help Group (SHG) contribution which varies by salary band.
